Tension in Aba as Corpse of Suspected Leader of Popular Cult Group found along Uratta Road

On the night of Tuesday 29th November 2022, gunshots took over the Uratta, Port Harcourt road, and adjoining streets across the railway in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State. The chaos was following the discovery of the corpse of a suspected leader of dreaded Aro Boys, a dreaded cult group, Mr Obinna Ukachukwu aka 300 Spartans or King Obinna, in a bush along Uratta Road.

AbaCityBlog correspondent gathered that from Ahuruonye Street, Nwaogu Street, Nnadede Street, Onyeike Street, Powerline by railway, Sunday Street, Wayo Street, Onwuma Street, Emeh Street, Mbadiugha Street, Jaja Street and St Philips Road, many residents closed their shops and locked their gates before 7:30 pm.
Further investigation revealed that 300 Spartans who hailed from Acha, in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State was killed by unknown persons in what has been described as cult rivalry war, but with several links to his agitation activities in Aba
