Forgery Saga: How APGA’s Prof Greg Ibe Can Regain His Peace

The perpetual internal wrangling bedeviling Abia’s All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, does not seem to be going away soon. How Abia APGA manages to enmesh itself in leadership crises from year to year, adding a new dimension to it this time round involving its former gubernatorial candidate, Prof Greg Ibe, deserves a study in political attrition.
Having sustained its unending leadership crisis over the years, the Party has added another feather to its cap of vicious politicking in the certificate forgery saga that has left its Prof Greg Ibe needing oxygen to save himself from premature political asphyxiation as two chieftains of the party, General Ijioma N. Ijioma, RTD and Mr Etigwe Uwa, SAN allegedly had dragged the Party’s former candidate through the courts with claims that the WAEC and NYSC certificates submitted to INEC and the party by Ibe were forged.
A High Court has since granted aspirant Udensi’s prayers based on other irregularities and nullified the APGA primaries that produced Ibe.
Rather than face their problems squarely and do the needful, Prof Ibe’s footsoldiers have been running helter skelter, from pillar to post, clutching even at straws to save their embattled Principal with the nonsensical claim that PDP planted members in APGA to destabilise them. In other words, PDP planted the plaintiff, Chikwe Udensi, who has always been a chieftain of APGA while Prof Greg Ibe who is alleging that PDP planted Udensi in APGA to destabilise the party is

the one who left PDP just last April and hijacked the structure from founding members of the party.
Is it therefore not laughable, and indeed, self-derisory for an Ibe who left PDP for APGA just eight months ago to accuse PDP of planting an Udensi who, by the virtue of his long time in APGA, is qualified to be called the Father of APGA in Abia State? Who between Udensi and Ibe should be accusing the other of being planted by PDP to destroy APGA, an allegation that exists only in the facile imagination of the propagators? If anyone was planted in APGA to destroy it, it should be Gregory Ibe who met Udensi in that party. That allegation coming from Ibe and his footsoldiers is an indication that those who accuse PDP of planting people in their parties to destabilise them are merely being clever by half and playing to the gallery. They must look for who to blame for their woes and imminent excruciating defeat at the polls in few months time.
With the benefit of hindsight, it is now clear that these other parties in the state are PDP’s dumpster where every of the party’s rejected elements find cover with their shady characters and controversial certificates.
Rather than keep looking the way of PDP for the source of his troubles, Prof Greg Ibe should just do the simple thing that honest men and people of integrity do when the integrity of their certificates are questioned: publish your original certificates submitted to INEC for the world to see, and rest from their accusations! But Greg Ibe will not do

that because he probably knows Chikwe Udensi has caught him by his scrotum.
Just today, General Ijioma raised the bar of same certificate forgery allegation on radio and those who missed it can listen here.
Prof Greg Ibe should stop his rigmarole around the issue, put Chikwe Udensi and General Ijioma to shame by simply publishing his already submitted certificate which they question for all to see! That is how people of impeccable character respond to false allegations against them.
