GUNMEN ASSASSINATE UI LECTURER AND CART AWAY WITH HIS CAR IN IBADAN.
A lecturer at the University of Ibadan, Mr Opeyemi Isaac Ajewole was killed on Monday night while returning to his home in the Moniya area of Ibadan on Monday evening.
A source in the university said that Mr Ajewole’s car was taken by his killers and his body has been deposited at the UI Anatomy.
Ajewole until his death was a lecturer in the Department of Forest Resources Management of the university.
The principal Assistant Registrar, Public Communications, at the university, Joke Akinpelu, confirmed that he was killed but it has not been confirmed if they were armed robbers or hired assassins.
