SENATOR JIBRIN BARAU EMERGES AS DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT UNOPPOSED.
Senator Jilbrin Barau has been elected as the Deputy Senate President unopposed. He was nominated by the former Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State which was seconded by the lawmaker who was representing Kwara North by the name of Saliu Mustapha Tambuwal and declared him elected unopposed as there was no opponent competing with him.
